Stella Arrives
The latest family addition arrived the day before yesterday, 9 July 2009. After a very brief but intense 4-5 hours of labor, Polly gave birth to Stella Rose McLean at 18:35. Stella came out kicking and screaming, which is a good thing with babies and now both Mom and mini are doing fine.
Like Mira, it looks like she is going to be a little red head with blue eyes.
Happy turns,
Andrew

Congratulations!
I wish you and your wife a quick recovery and hope everybody in the family is able to sleep well! My son Kai was born 4 weeks ago and we’re still adjusting… :)
Andrew,
Congratulations to you and your family!
Wow! Two beautiful daughters! Does Hans get his pick? If he is like his dad he will favor the redheads but have eternal conflicts with them. We wish you and Polly many hours of peaceful hours of sleep between changing dipairs and crying! Congrats.
Mark, Sarah and Hans
Congratulations to all. You are now officially outnumbered.

Congrats Andrew!!
Great news! Congratulations to you all. Everyone looks so great in that picture.
Congrats! Best wishes for happiness and health!
Mazel Tov ! All the best to you and your beautiful family!
Good Work! Love the name! We have an Eva Rose (about 4) and a Stella Jane (15 months). Enjoy the dynamic of 3 to 1 female!
Busy times, eh?
Congrats!!
Congratulations!! What a beautiful family. I wish you every happiness.
Thanks everyone! So far Stella has been a quite, dreamy little baby. She spends a lot of time just looking around and grooving on things like her sister and the dogs.
Chuteski – Hans can come by and fight with them anytime. Mira has a mean right hook.
Bart – we seem to share the same preferences for naming kids!
Andrew
now we have to convince bd to name a ski “Stella” to match our quiver.
Dude, Congratulations.
Congratulations! It’s great to hear everyone is happy and healthy.
Nice work, Polly. Redheads rule.
Congratulations Andrew and Polly!
My wife and I have four kids, all grown and gone, forcing us to start talking again. We’re in our mid-forties and hopefully still young enough for some adventure (the only benefit of procreating while still in high-school). That said, I miss my kids! They grow up fast. The upside is my son breaks trail like mad-man. Savor every moment, even stinky shorts at 3AM (and I’m not talking storm-bound tent-mates on the Kahiltna).
Congratulations from Ember and Mark.
We love the name Stella also and almost named our last girl Stella Blue (Garcia tune), but settled with Celine Bleu. Our girls are now 5 and 6 years old and skied 36 days at Alta last year … life is getting really good now.
Ha! Polly, hilarious!
I love that first McLean girl, and can’t wait to meet the latest model.
How are the pups adjusting?
