This photo says a lot about skiing in Antarctica. First you have to find a ramp such as the one in the middle to even get up onto the slope. Then you have to deal with crevasses, glaciers and route finding to get where you want to go, which in many cases is steeper, bigger and further away then you might expect. And then there is always the weather. Combining and juggling all of these factors is what makes skiing down there so much fun.
