Slideshow in Alaska & California

| September 22, 2009

If you happen live in Anchorage or Tahoe, I have two dates set for a slideshow presentation on skiing the Alaska Family Trio – Papa Denali, Mama Sultana and Mt. Hunter, the wild child.  The Anchorage show is on Oct 22nd (geez… I should really start putting this show together!) and the Tahoe show is on December 17 as part of the Alpenglow series.

Both venues are great fun and proceeds go to worthy causes.

I hope to see you there!

  1. Rich says:

Hey Andrew, what are the chances of doing one of these talks in London do you reckon? Davenport got to do one at the Royal Geographic Society .. it was pretty cool and I hear they have a *lot* of single malt.

  2. Andrew says:

Hi Rich – I’d love to do one in London, especially if I could piggyback it with a trip to France to go skiing. ;)
On my part, I donate my time as long as I can get my travel expenses covered.

  3. Chris says:

    Come back to Seattle!

  4. Rich says:

Kewl! So who do I need to bug to get this to happen?

I was thinking seeing how you skied Denali, Forraker and Hunter, maybe the Eiger, Moonch and Jungfrau are on the agenda?

  5. John says:

Travel expenses? The AK show is just an excuse to go to the Bush Company!

  6. Andrew says:

Maybe the Bush Co. would consider co-hosting the event. ;)

  7. JonnyA says:

Wow, that would be a show to take on tour! Andrew McLean and the AK Bush CO! I want a piece of that action-

  8. Polly says:

Not if I have any say! Oh wives always ruin the fun! :)

  9. Oren Jacob says:

We’ll see you there in Tahoe.

You looking for a place to stay? We have a good sized skihouse in Tahoe Donner this year. And my kids do need to meet you someday.
