Infectious Greed: How Deceit and Risk Corrupted the Financial Markets by Frank Partnoy

Both awesome and overwhelming at the same time and one of the few non-fiction financial books that I got tossed off of and couldn’t finish.  Part of the issue with this book is that it is so well documented and detailed that each thought builds immediately on the last and within a paragraph it is easy to get lost in how all of these egregious deeds were done, who did them and what happened.  The first chapter was one of the best and did a great job explaining hedge funds and derivatives, and why they can be such a powerful combination.
