Greg Hill Marches On

| March 5, 2014

After climbing and skiing 50,000′ in 24 hours, then one million vertical feet in a year and then upping it to two million in a year, Greg Hill of Revelstoke, BC is working on a new project to ski 100 vertical kilometers (100,00m / 328,000′) in a single month. He started a few days ago on March 1st, and so far he’s looking good.

Not bad for a few days of touring…

Greg measures vertical the good old fashion way by just counting the up, and for this project he will be going to different backcountry areas everyday.  He’s had an iPhone implanted in the dark recess of one of his lungs (there’s plenty of room in there) and will be sending Tweets, Instagrams and updating his blog (www.GregHill.ca) on a regular basis.  As a ballpark reference, that is at least an average of 10,581′ per day for 31 days in a row.

Go dog, go!
