Black Diamond designed the 100 flex Men’s Seeker Telemark Ski Boot for backcountry powder hunters who want a lightweight, easy touring boot that delivers responsive, efficient power transmission when tackling untracked descents. This boot begins with a Pebax Triax-Tour frame that offers an ideal balance of stiff support and forgiving flex. The Seeker’s three buckle design and MidStiff bellows provide uphill efficiency without sacrificing high-performance downhill capabilities. Black Diamond gave this boot a mechanically integrated ski/walk mode and three setting covering eight degrees of forward lean to suit your skiing style and stance. The thermo-moldable, high performance Strobel liner features the Boa closure system for increased fit and on the fly adjustability. Use this boot with both 75mm and three-pin tele binders.

Bottom Line: Seek and you shall find deep pow stashes.

  1. Polly says:

    Oh I know, I know!!

  2. Andrew says:

You are unfortunately disqualified my dear, even though you have a cute little daughter.

  3. What I want to know is why don’t they make suits like that anymore? I mean a suit you can climb and ski in.

  4. Andrew says:

Quite natty, eh? The hat looks like it would stay on in a light breeze as well.

So Charlie, were you able to figure this clue out? I’m trying to make the front end clues a bit harder as people have time to research them.

  5. steve says:

Got the clue (Wikipedia just rocks), but I’m hoping having TWO little girls doesn’t disqualify me.

  6. Andrew says:

Good job Steve! You are only disqualified if you happen to have two little girls AND we are married, so I think you’re safe. :)

  7. TommyP says:

I’m getting excited….2 more clues and those boots are mine!

  8. Andrew, I didn’t know much about the suit but it wasn’t too hard to find the answer. However, I do have a degree in geography. ;-)

  9. Andrew says:

Damn you Charles Ziskin! Tomorrow’s clue will be harder. In the meantime, abuse your brain cells a bit more.

  10. rsireland3 says:

Interesting. Without looking up precise lat and longt it looks like the answer does not sit precisely in the territory described in the answer to the previous clue…

  11. Oh, that’s a given!

  12. Andrew says:

Hi rsireland3 – It’s close, but it does fall within the zone described in clue #2, at least according to my map.

  13. Just to be clear, the abuse of my brain cells is what’s a given. ;-)

  14. Jay J says:

A la’ Jeopardy; Who it Lincoln Ellsworth??

  15. drock says:

Just checking to see if I’m entered… never have seen my first reply.

  16. Andrew says:

Hi drock – all systems go.

  17. rsireland3 says:

Hmmmm… Andrew, maybe we have different maps? Like I said, it isn’t precisely in the region. It is only there on one of three counts. So perhaps I took clue #2 more precisely than you intended.
