I descended the Rahman couloir in the spring of 1999 following getting caught in a storm whilst descending from the summit. We were battered well and truly by the mountain and my partner had lost her crampon in the process. It was a scary way off the mountain for sure. It would rock as a ski descent, but very high consequence with big packs on to throw you about. Respect to Andrew and his crew. Have no doubt, Hunter is a very significant ski descent.

Andrew - really cool stuff. I was curious about the ski route down as I had been staring at the NE face of Hunter for about a week (about a week ago!). Now it makes sense that the descent was on the other side of Annie's Ridge, which I couldn't see.

Really cool drawing.

Here is Hun-Tah about a week or so ago (from the NE Ridge of Francis):

*Note: I was not doing anything up there remotely in the same level as that TR you linked to.

I'm not sure, but I would assume "sex" unless I somehow misspelled it. :)

it looks like there is a secret word spelled in block letters above the couloirs and jsut below your "13,000' plateau" notation. what does it say?

I've been to the top of Hunta. It rocks. If you were hard core you would ski down k2 which had icy moguls the size of vws or else you could head over to hunta west.
